Glossary
The vocabulary of AI training, clearly defined.
The terms that recur in our programmes, defined simply to remove any ambiguity.
- Shadow AI
- Employees using AI tools without a framework defined by the company: sensitive data pasted into consumer tools, unverified outputs, practices invisible to leadership. The answer isn't prohibition, but training.
- Cadenced method
- Learning through short, spaced sessions rather than a single intensive workshop. Spacing anchors the skill over time, whereas a one-off format is forgotten within weeks.
- AI trainer
- At Cadens, a practitioner of your field trained in applied AI, who guides you one-to-one on your own files, at your cadence.
- One-to-one training
- Individual support — one trainer for one learner — on your real files, as opposed to group training on generic cases.
- Qualiopi
- The French quality certification for training providers, required to access public and pooled funding such as CPF and OPCO.
- CPF
- Personal training account: a scheme that lets every working person in France fund an eligible course, including Cadens programmes, via MonCompteFormation.
- OPCO
- Skills operator: an organisation that funds companies' professional training. It's the main route to train a team on AI.
